I grew up in rural Livermore Falls, Maine, where I developed a strong respect and love for nature and the outdoors.
Over the years this love grew into a desire to capture Maine's beauty from its' dense backwoods, to the majesty of Maine's coast.
I have been taking pictures since I could hold a polaroid camera, but only in the last decade began to hone my craft; learning more with each snap of the shutter.
I am largely a self-taught artist with no formal training in photography, and have drawn inspiration from a multitude of landscape photographers. I am always searching for new and creative ways to capture the world around me.
I feel most alive in the quiet places in the wilderness: from the bright sun at noon, to the twilight at dawn; the light of the evening stars, atop the mountains; or in the mist of a dreary day.
